Howdy All!!
What a fun and crazy weekend for y'all! That's so cool that Jade had 7
pups. Do you plan on keeping any? They'll have to make up for wesson. (our cat died) That's a
lot of fun seeing Talise going to prom. It was prom weekend for a lot of
schools here too so we got to see it all. I thought of Talise during all that.
I hope she had fun.
This last week was really good. We had a baptism!! Tyler was
pretty nervous before doing it, but once he came out he was glowing. He is so
happy for his decision to join the Lord's church. Ed who is going to be
baptized May 11 is also doing great. We meet w/ him between 2 or 3 times a
week and he's eating it all up. I think about these guys and what a hard
decision it must be to join the church. It's just another testimony to me that
the Lord is always working on his children and prepares them for the Gospel
message. Timing is everything. Charles is another guy we have on date for May
18. He is seeing a lot of his prayers answered and that makes all the
difference. Doing those little things and going step by step can turn someone
180 degrees bringing them to greater happiness. I love this missionary work so
much! I'm grateful for this Gospel and my family. Something interesting about
Grand Junction is the junior college world series is held here. The field is
really nice and it’s just a few blocks from our apartment. I'm going to see if
there is a p-day when they are playing that we could go to. It's the field for
the college team and a minor league team.
